Kindermusik  Level 3 (ages 3-5) with Miss Marsha

  • Saturdays 9 am–9:40 am
  • 4300 Las Cruces Way (Arden Christian Campus), Sacramento
  • $80 per month

Each week in class we combine preschooler’s natural love of music, storytelling, and imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early music concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth, and self-control. We also connect parents who share in the wonder of parenting a preschooler. Parents join class for the final activities. The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials bring the music, activities, and each month’s story everywhere for families. The repetition enhances the learning—and the fun!

ACTIVITIES

  • Experiencing a variety of sounds and learning how sounds are produced by playing musical instruments, speaking or singing
  • Playing instruments with an emphasis on steady beat, repeated rhythm patterns, graphic notation, and ensemble music

  • Engaging in creative expression and language play, expressing feelings and ideas through movement and music
  • Pre-reading music and learning to interpret graphic notation symbols, a precursor to learning traditional music symbols

Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed.  Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue.  The potential of every child is unlimited.
